Co-Chair
James C. (JIM) Price, BSW, MACP, DipPSR, CPRRP, RSW (He/Him/His) is currently an Instructor with the Social Service Worker Program at ACC—Parkland Campus. His background is in Addictions and community Mental Health Services from a PSR perspective/approach. Additionally, he has an extensive background in Child and Family Services, Counselling, Health Promotion, and Advocacy.
Jim is originally from New Brunswick and has been happy to call Dauphin, Manitoba, home for 14 years. He is currently a student at Red River College in the Teaching for Learning in Applied Education program. Jim is passionate about Indigenous Pedagogies and Psychosocial Rehabilitation as being symbiotic steps towards ReconciliACTION and the promotion of Anti-Racist Education and Means of Universal Engagements.
Jim is a Purveyor of Hope. We must always be welcoming, engaging, and empowering. Jim proffers that if we all recognize our inherent strengths while simultaneously celebrating our diversity, we will journey together as allies and create fewer adversaries in today’s challenging environs. He is a member of the NBASW, MCSW, and PSR/RPS Canada. He continues to be a lifelong learner, currently having over 37 years of experience in the social work field.
