DAY ONE
OCD Centre Manitoba, Inc. presents DELIVERY OCD AND HOARDING DISORDER SERVICES WITH A RECOVERY LENS
This education day will include presentations on taking a holistic approach to supporting individuals with OCD and with Hoarding Disorder. Strategies for effectively empowering individuals for change and progress will be shared by expert presenters including Dr. Michelle Warren and Lindsay Bacala. We will emphasize well-being and inclusion through:
- Strengths-based approaches
- Hope and Acceptance
- Recovery-oriented services delivery
People with OCD and Hoarding Disorder have lived in the shadows of the mental health system, effective services can bring them into the light and support them towards their goals and ambitions.
DAY TWO
Psychosocial Rehabilitation Manitoba and presents – RECOVERY IN ACTION
This unique PSR Canada - Manitoba Chapter initiative brings together to highlight strength-based recovery-oriented best practices approaches and innovative work in Manitoba. This conference was specifically created to address the need to share knowledge and come together in person to highlight examples of best practices in recovery work in action.
Education sessions on PSR Canada Membership benefits, from the CEO Vicky Huehn of PSR Canada and Dr Regina Casey of the PSR Scientific Committee.
Learn of the extraordinary innovation with addiction services and how co-production from Greg Kylo Director of Bruce Oake Recovery Center.
Experience how co-production strengthens PSR strategies in your practice to strengthen PSR implementation with Sheryl Giesbrecht.
